Yealink T42G Phone Usage Guide:

Each phone has two extensions set up.

Making a Call:

On the main screen of the phone, dial the number using the keypad. Press the green "Send" button or "OK" to make the call.

Answering an Incoming Call:

When the phone rings, press the green "Send" button or "OK" to answer.

Ending a Call:

During a conversation, press the red "End Call" button to end the call.

Placing a Call on Hold:

During a call, press the "Hold" button to put the call on hold.

Making a New Call from Another Extension:

Press the "New Call" button to initiate a new call from another extension.

Selecting an Extension:

Dial the number of the second extension you wish to connect with.

Connecting with Another Extension:

When the second extension picks up, press the "Conf" (Conference) button to connect the first and second calls into a conference.

Exiting the Conference with External Party:

To leave the conference with an external party, press the "Split" button to continue the conversation with the first extension only.

Ending a Call with External Party:

Press the red "End Call" button to end the call with the external party.

Ending the Conference Call:

To end the entire conference call, press the red "End Call" button.

Optional:

If you have a headset, connect it to the phone using the appropriate port. Settings and Additional Features:

To access the settings menu, press the "Menu" button. From here, you can configure various phone settings such as language, network, sound, and more.
